Hi guys, it's been quite sometime since I last posted and I apologize. For those who kept visiting during my hiatus, I triple apologize to you :). Let's just say I have been going through some transitions and that motivation to create and share a blog post got lost in the mix. I spoke to someone today who reminded me how long it has been since I last posted. Basically, made me feel guilty for my lack of posts. So, I won't make the big I am back statement but let's just say I will try to post often. I normally do Monday posts on top 2 Cameroonians but today I decided to give an update on myself. I am Cameroonian after all :).
If you have been following my blog, from when I blogged on Blogpost to now, Weebly, you know my lifestyle can be nomadic. I love my nomadic lifestyle. It gives me the flexibility to live life as I want. To not only explore places, but to understand what fuels my happiness. As time goes by, I have had several conversations and advises about stability. Kesh, you need to be stable. You are always moving from place to place. What are you looking for? Why must I be looking for something? In a bid to stop the questions or having to sit through my lifestyle being questioned, I would always answer, I am looking for knowledge and experience. After using that answer so many times, it got me thinking. In this process of life we call growth, gaining experience in my opinion, is the best way to educate oneself. I have been priviledge to attain a university degree and some. Nonetheless, without my experiences, I wouldn't be creating the person I want to be. As small as they maybe, they have a much bigger impact in my life. There was a period in time when I use to do things to please people. Don't get me wrong, I still do, to my loved ones. Now, the pleasing is mainly done for me. It's ok to be selfish. If living a nomadic lifestyle as in my case is what pleases you, I say go for it! Enjoy it for as long as you can! So, I say to you, go out there, let go, live your life as much as you can because no one knows tomorrow. Now, it wouldn't be African of me to not include cautionary disclosures :). Also, my mom may read this and ask God what happened? She was suppose to be getting a PhD :). As you live life to the fullest, make sure you also have plans. As exciting as it is, one will always have responsibilities. So, plan accordingly. With that said, at the end of January, I was fortunate to get a great opportunity that lead to me moving to Boston. Great city and great friends who reside in the city. I look forward to this journey and what comes next!
