I don't know about you all but, I love my snacks. Lately, I have been using snacks as a way to curb my appetite. I try to stick with the breakfast, lunch and dinner routine but I do get hungry in between so, I always need something to pick me up. Below, I will share some health snacks I normally much on while on the go.
1) Grapes:
Grapes are the perfect snacks. You wash them, pop them in your mouth and you are good to go. I normally buy the organic grapes(they are sweeter) from sprouts. Lets just say I can finish a big bag in 3 days(shame on me lol). I just love them that much. They are also my go to midnight snack. We all get that craving so, I suggest you grab yourself a handful of grapes and munch on.
2) Almonds:
Nuts are easy to snack on and also quite nutritious. I always snack on a handful of almonds or two handfuls per day. It is not an everyday thing but I try to eat them at least 3 times a week. The natural almonds with no additives eg. salt, sugar etc. are the best. Eat them as fresh as possible.
3) Coconuts:
We already know I love coconuts so, they had to be on my snack list. Always get the fresh coconuts and break them. I normally cut them to little pieces to ease the eating process.
4) Popcorn:
Guys, there is nothing tastier than homemade popcorn. Forget Pop Secret and Orveille Redenbachers, make your own. Plus, when you make yours, you control your salt input as well as any other thing you would like to put in them. I normally use olive oil to pop them and no salt.
5)Carrots/Celery:
Last but not least, our veggies. I love to snack on these two. The celery is quite refreshing when you bite into it. The slight sweetness of the carrots makes my taste buds dance with joy(ok! I overdid it there lol). nonetheless, not only are these two tasty snack options, they are also healthy. Remember, the organic version is always best.
