When I first read the book Purple Hibiscus, I knew there was something special about the writer. The flow of words and her way of making you indulge in her story telling. Every book of hers I have read, is relatable. I sometimes feel as though she speaks to me. It now makes sense. She is a virgo like me :). This week, I decided to feature writer extraordinaire, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in celebration of her birthday. She constantly reminds us the danger of the single story, and why we should all be feminist. As you can see, I took that from her two different Ted Talks. In addition to her Ted Talks, Ms. Adichie has written some amazing books. If you are into African literature, which I think everyone should be, rent or buy them from amazon and thank me later.
